UPDATE: Cameron Booth 2007 scholarship Winner! - Hanna Ding
Congratulations to Hanna Ding, 2007 winner of the $500 scholarship. Hanna is the 18 year old daughter of Barbara Ding owner of The Groom Room. She is going to attend the Colorado University of Boulder studying Biochemistry. Her goal is to develop new technologies and medicines to enrich and better peoples lives. She wants to develop cures for diseases, what a great career goal! She will work part-time to help with the cost of school and tells us how much this scholarship will help her.
Every year the CPPGA offers a $250
scholarship. Steve and Wendy Booth will match the funds bringing the total value of the scholarship to $500. The recipient,
parent, sibling, grandparent, or legal
guardian must be in the grooming Industry and a current an active CPPGA or NDGGA member. The scholarship may be
used toward any college
or trade school education. The education need not be grooming or animal care related and can be used for any form of higher education. An introduction essay of at least 500 words or a video of at least 5 minutes must be submitted. The intro should include the applicants age, locality, who they are related to, where they will be attending school, and how they could benefit from the scholarship.The annual deadline is March 31st and
the scholarship is awarded in July. When applying please send you name,
